Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of mothers in anti-corruption education within the family environment. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. The respondents of this study were six housewives. Data were collected through interviews and observations. The data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, supported by data validity testing.

The findings indicate that mothers play a crucial role in shaping children’s integrity, particularly in instilling anti-corruption values within the family. This role is reflected in communicating honesty values, fostering care and empathy, encouraging independence, applying positive discipline, teaching responsibility, promoting hard work, and cultivating a simple lifestyle. Mothers act as the first and primary educators in the family by instilling these values through role modeling, open communication, age-appropriate task assignments, and educational correction of inappropriate behavior.
