PENGARUH LATIHAN FOREHAND DRIVE TERHADAP KETEPATAN SMASH DALAM PERMAINAN TENIS PADA MAHASISWA SEMESTER VI PROGRAM STUDI PJKR UPG 1945 NTT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan forehand drive terhadap ketepatan smash dalam permainan tenis meja. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi PJKR UPG 1945 NTT. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 10 orang mahasiswa laki-laki yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Perlakuan berupa program latihan forehand drive yang diberikan selama 5 minggu dengan frekuensi 1 kali per minggu. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes ketepatan smash tenis meja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor ketepatan smash dari 7,90 pada saat pretest menjadi 15,80 pada saat posttest. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 20,867, sedangkan nilai t-tabel pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 9 adalah 2,262. Karena t-hitung > t-tabel, maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan forehand drive terhadap peningkatan ketepatan smash dalam permainan tenis meja pada mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi PJKR UPG 1945 NTT.
