The method used in this study can be classified in associative type research that is a description of complete information about the relationship between variables with other symptoms. Data analysis techniques used in this study are multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test, t test, F test and determinant coefficient. The results of the analysis and evaluation of the data obtained that the results of the school-based management system partially have a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction, the leadership variable partially has a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction, the school-based management system variable and leadership simultaneously have a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction. The influence of school and management-based management system variables on job satisfaction by 56.80% means that 43.20% is influenced by other factors not examined.</em></p> Bahrudi Efendi Damanik ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.upg45ntt.ac.id/ciencias/article/view/52 Fri, 31 Jan 2020 00:00:00 +0700 Korelasi Keharmonisan Hubungan Sosial antar Guru dengan Kinerja Guru di SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru https://ejournal.upg45ntt.ac.id/ciencias/article/view/47 <p><em>It was a correlational research studying about social relationship harmonization among teachers (X) and teacher performance (Y) at State Senior High School 8 Pekanbaru.&nbsp; This research aimed at knowing teacher performance level, social relationship harmonization level among teachers, and the correlation between both variables.&nbsp; All teachers that were 83 teachers were the population of this research.&nbsp; Questionnaire and documentation were the techniques of collecting the data.&nbsp; The data were analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment correlation formula.&nbsp; Based on the analysis results, it showed that H<sub>0</sub> was rejected and H<sub>a</sub> was accepted.&nbsp; It meant that there was a positive significant correlation between social relationship harmonization among teachers and teacher performance at State Senior High School 8 Pekanbaru.&nbsp; It could be seen from the difference between r<sub>observed</sub> 0.409 and r<sub>table</sub> 0.2159 at 5% significant level with N=83, so r<sub>observed</sub> was higher than r<sub>table</sub> (0.409&gt;02159).&nbsp; Based on the data results of the coefficient of linear regression, it showed that the probability score or the significant score 0.000 was lower than 0.05 (0.000&lt;0.05).&nbsp; Based on the coefficient of determination, it was obtained the score that was 0.167 or 16.7%, and it was merged into 17%.&nbsp; It meant that the contribution of the variable of social relationship harmonization among teachers toward the variable of teacher performance at State Senior High School 8 Pekanbaru was 17%, and the rest was influenced by other variables.&nbsp; So, it was needed to build the harmonic social relationship among teachers to increase teacher performance.</em></p> Desi Kurnia, Syafaruddin Syafaruddin, Rini Setyaningsih ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.upg45ntt.ac.id/ciencias/article/view/47 Fri, 31 Jan 2020 00:00:00 +0700 Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Visualisasi Gua Peninggalan Jepang di Kupang Untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Sejarah Siswa https://ejournal.upg45ntt.ac.id/ciencias/article/view/46 <p><em>The purpose of this study is to find out (1) The use of media in learning history that has been taking place in the XI class of Sudirman Kupang Senior High School so far; (2) historical awareness of class XI Sudirman Kupang high school students; (3) Development of historical learning media based on the Japanese Cave Visualization in Kupang to increase historical awareness of class XI students at Sudirman Kupang High School; and (4) Effectiveness of the application of the Japanese Cave Visualization Media in Kupang in history learning in class XI of Sudirman Kupang High School. This research was conducted at Sudirman Kupang High School. This research is a research or development called research and development (R &amp; D). The results showed that (1) the use of media in history learning that took place so far in class XI of Sudirman Kupang high school was still said to be minimal; (2) after learning in the classroom using the Kupang Japan cave visualization</em> <em>media, class XI students at Sudirman Kupang High School felt it was important to visit the Kupang Japan cave site; (3 development of historical learning media based on visualization of Japanese caves in Kupang was carried out through several stages including (a) the stage of material selection ie the researcher chooses the subject used in the development activity; c) producing a learning video, at this stage, the researcher utilizes Adobe photo shop CC 2015 software, Vegas pro 13, Adobe After Affact and Adobe Audition, (d) product validation.After validating the expert both material and media, the resulting product is declared (4) learning media based on Kupang Japan cave visualization is very effective in increasing the historical awareness of class XI students of Sudirman Kupang High School.</em></p> Moses Kollo, Sanhedri Boimau ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.upg45ntt.ac.id/ciencias/article/view/46 Fri, 31 Jan 2020 00:00:00 +0700 The Effect of Teacher Social Support on Student Achievement Motivation https://ejournal.upg45ntt.ac.id/ciencias/article/view/54 <p>The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of teachers' social support on the motivation of achievement students of class XI language department at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang City. The research method used is quantitative, with a simple linear regression data analysis technique. The number of respondents was 35 students, and the sampling technique used was random sampling. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on student achievement motivation (Sig. 0.000 &lt; 0.05). But this can result in not supporting the learning process and not achieving the learning objectives to the fullest. As is the case with the&nbsp; study&nbsp; of&nbsp; English&nbsp; at&nbsp; school,&nbsp; generally&nbsp; not&nbsp; attractive,&nbsp; as&nbsp; a&nbsp; result &nbsp;many&nbsp; learners who&nbsp; are&nbsp; less&nbsp; interested&nbsp; in&nbsp; learning&nbsp; English.&nbsp;&nbsp; The research&nbsp; aims&nbsp; to&nbsp; increase&nbsp; the students'&nbsp; participation&nbsp;&nbsp; in learning English.&nbsp;&nbsp; The&nbsp; type&nbsp;&nbsp; of&nbsp;&nbsp; this research&nbsp;&nbsp; was Classroom Action Research (CAR) using&nbsp;&nbsp; a&nbsp; qualitative&nbsp; approach&nbsp; with&nbsp; the&nbsp; planning,&nbsp; action,&nbsp; observation,&nbsp; and reflection phases. Prior&nbsp; to&nbsp; the implementation&nbsp; of&nbsp; the research,&nbsp; pre-action. Further&nbsp;&nbsp; research&nbsp;&nbsp; is conducted&nbsp;&nbsp; in&nbsp;&nbsp; two cycles,&nbsp;&nbsp; each cycle&nbsp;&nbsp; consists of three times&nbsp;&nbsp; the meeting.&nbsp;&nbsp; The&nbsp;&nbsp; subject&nbsp;&nbsp; of&nbsp; the research&nbsp; was&nbsp; a&nbsp; grade&nbsp; VII&nbsp; students&nbsp; of&nbsp;&nbsp; SMP&nbsp; Negeri&nbsp; 1 Kupang&nbsp;&nbsp; in&nbsp;&nbsp; the&nbsp;&nbsp; school year 2018/2019.&nbsp;&nbsp; The data were collected&nbsp;&nbsp; by observations, documentation, and recording, which were analyzed in a descriptive&nbsp;&nbsp; analytics.
